We have numerous opportunities to demonstrate and grow your faith. Our various ministries help show faith through action and build each other up as we learn the word of God together.
Stephen Ministry
In Scripture, Act 6 tells the story of St. Stephen, the first lay person chosen and commissioned by the apostles to provide caring ministry to those in need. Stephen Ministry is named in his memory.
Acton Methodist Church is a Stephen Ministry Congregation; believing in the ability of our laity to walk alongside each other as spiritual friends. Our trained Stephen Ministers are available to anyone experiencing a wide range of needs including; parenting, illness, loss, divorce, and many others.
Prayer Requests
Every Wednesday our prayer ministry meets to pray for our church staff, ministries, and prayer concerns. Also, our prayer chain prays weekly for church prayer requests.

God’s message comes in many forms. The internet and social media have given us a whole new avenue by which to spread God’s love.
Acton Methodist Church produces a wide variety of media including a livestream and video recording of every Sunday Service.
