Acton Music Academy
Private or Group
Beginning in September 2022, we started offering private music studies for any age and any level of experience. Lessons are offered on a weekly basis in 30, 45 or 60 minute blocks, according to the student or parent's preference and/or instructor's recommendation.
Music groups such as Choir & Music Theory also exist for those that wish to perform on stage alongside their peers.
Lessons & Scheduling
All lessons are taught at Acton Methodist Church (no exceptions). During the enrollment process, each student will be assigned an instructor and lesson time. The student/parent will then be contacted to confirm the lesson or class time. Once a lesson time is established, it is important that the student continue through the semester with that time.
Lessons will take place in the Youth Building. During lessons, we invite parents/spouses to wait in the lobby.

Registration
To begin, please fill out the Interest Form. After our director has reviewed your file, they will contact you with further instructions. Final enrollment includes a $30 registration fee. Students enrolled commit to an entire school year of musical study.
Tuition
Tuition is due monthly, for the convenience of students/parents. Calculations are based on 30 weeks of lessons over 9 months of study, not the number of lessons in each month. Failure to remit payment by the 10th of each month may result in a $10 late fee.
30-Minute Lessons
$89/monthly for nine months

60-Minute Lessons
$178/monthly for nine months
Total yearly tuition – $1,600

$50 per lesson for 4, 8, or 16 weeks
45-minute lessons
$134/monthly for nine months
Total Annual: $1,200

$37.50 per lesson for 4, 8, or 16 weeks
60-Minute Group Classes
$60/monthly for nine months
Total annual: $540
(students must be at least 15 yrs old)

Music Theory | Covers material such as rhythm, pitches and scales, intervals, clefs, meter, and signature. Class times: Tuesdays 6:30 PM-7:30 PM or Thursday 9:30 AM-10:30 AM.
