Modern Worship Leader & Youth Minister

The Modern Worship Leader will guide the praise team and cultivate a vibrant, heart-felt worship experience that glorifies Jesus and where people regularly encounter the presence of God. The Youth Minister is responsible for leading, discipling, and nurturing the spiritual growth of middle school and high school students for discipleship and partnering with parents and the broader church to raise up mature followers of Jesus; helping the church fulfill our mission of “Being Christlike in Leading Generations to Be Like Christ.”

    • Lead the modern worship service each week in consultation with the Senior Pastor and Music Minister.

    • Work with the Senior Pastor, the Minister of Music, and the Praise Team to plan each service.

    • Take the lead role in scheduling a rotation of praise team members including those bringing special music or other additions to the service.

    • Work with the praise team to enhance the quality of music, including musicians and vocalists. The praise Team Leader may, and is encouraged to, delegate leadership roles involves with the preparation of the Praise Team in order to enhance the music presentation.

    • Provide biblically faithful, engaging teaching for youth gatherings, small groups, and special events.

    • Disciple students toward spiritual maturity through mentoring, prayer, and accountability.

    • Model a growing personal relationship with Christ and a life consistent with Christian values.

    • Plan and lead weekly youth meetings, Bible studies, and special events.

    • Organize retreats, camps, mission trips, and service opportunities.

    • Involve students in church-wide missions, outreach, and service efforts.

    • Actively engage all youth in different ways each semester and Summer.

    • Fulfill other responsibilities that may be requested by the Senior Pastor.

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music, Worship Arts, or church leadership preferred.

    • Excellent in modern worship vocally as well as instrumentally with guitar or piano.

    • Warm, approachable, energetic, and people oriented.

    • A servant-leader who empowers others to lead and build God’s Kingdom.

    • A mature, spirit-filled believer with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    • 40 Work Hours per week

    • Sunday 7:30am-12:30pm (5 hours weekly)

    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00am-4:00pm (21 hours weekly)

    • Wednesday: 2:00pm-7:00pm (5 hours weekly)

    • Flexible hours for church events, services, meetings, and activities (9 hours weekly)

    • Friday & Saturday - OFF

    • This is a full-time, year-round position with office hours during the week, Sunday & Special service responsibilities

    • Salary Range: $35,000-$60,000 depending on experience.


Modern Worship Leader & Associate Pastor

The Modern Worship Leader will guide the praise team and cultivate a vibrant, heart-felt worship experience that glorifies Jesus and where people regularly encounter the presence of God. They will also work with the Senior Pastor in various missions, ministries, and administrative duties concerning the church in helping to fulfill our mission of “Being Christlike in Leading Generations to Be Like Christ”.

    • Lead the modern worship service each week in consultation with the Senior Pastor and Musical Minister.

    • Work with the Senior Pastor, the Minister of Music, and the Praise Team to plan each service.

    • Take the lead role in scheduling a rotation of praise team members including those bringing special music or other additions to service.

    • Help implement and oversee the church’s mission strategy in alignment with the church’s vision and values.

    • Recruit, train, and support mission teams and volunteers.

    • Help oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the church at the direction of the Senior Pastor.

    • Assist the Senior Pastor with strategic planning, goal setting, and ministry evaluation.

    • Help develop, maintain, and implement church policies and procedures.

    • Fulfill other responsibilities that may be requested by the Senior Pastor.

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music, Worship Arts, or church leadership preferred.

    • Excellent in modern worship vocally as well as instrumentally with guitar or piano.

    • Warm, approachable, and people oriented.

    • A servant-leader who empowers others to lead and build God’s Kingdom.

    • A mature, Spirit-filled believer with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    • Sundays: 7:30am-12:30pm (5 hours weekly)

    • Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-4:00pm (28 hours weekly)

    • Flex Hours for church events, services, meetings, and activities (9 hours weekly)

    • Friday & Saturday: OFF

    • This is a full-time, year-round position with office hours during the week, Sunday, & special service responsibilities.

    • Supervisor: Senior Pastor

    • Employee Status: Salaried, Exempt

    • Salary: $40,000-$60,000 depending on experience
