Worship Leader
Acton Methodist Church is a Christ-centered congregation located in Granbury Texas. We are committed to Being Christlike, In Leading Generations, To Be Like Christ.
We are seeking a called, dedicated, and capable individual to lead our Contemporary Worship. This person will work under the guidance of the Minister of Music, collaborating to provide spiritual leadership and support to the Contemporary Worship Team.

Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, exhibiting a growing relationship and spiritual maturity. Committed to continuing spiritual, personal, and professional development.
Must understand and have a commitment to the vision of Acton Methodist Church.
Must be teachable with a willingness to grow and learn.
Must be a team player and a strong leader; possessing strong team building skills
Must have a strong knowledge of music both vocally and instrumentally
Must possess good communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal
Must be skilled in working with Planning Center Online.
Must be a person who can follow directions, follow through with commitments, and see things through to completion. Being dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.
Able to work with all demographics.
Must be involved in the Acton Methodist Church activities.
Must be willing to work some evenings, weekends, and extra hours when needed within reason.

Directs the Praise Team.
Coordinates and supervises weekly rehearsals with Praise Team.
Plans and evaluates the contemporary worship in collaboration with the Minister of Music.
Maintains contemporary worship plans up to date in Planning Center.
Guides the congregation in worship by encouraging them to participate fully and fosters an environment of openness and connection to The Spirit.
Leads prayer before, during, and after worship services when appropriate.
Enlists “fill in” musicians as needed.
enlists and trains volunteer musicians and singers.
Prepares a Contemporary Worship annual budget in collaboration with the Minister of Music.
Attends Staff Meetings.
Assists the Minister of Music with administrative duties (copies, supply orders, etc)
Performs other duties as assigned by the Minister of Music and Lead Pastor.

3-5 years of related work experience in faith-based setting, casting vision, and implementing a successful music ministry and worship experience.
Must be able to hear and see well.
Must be able to climb stairs and lift 50lbs
