Must be a person who can follow directions, follow through with commitments, and see things through to completion. Being dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.

Able to work with all demographics.

Must be willing to work some evenings, weekends, and extra hours when needed within reason.

Directs the Bell Choir.

Assists the Minister of Music with Chancel Choir rehearsals

Directs the Acton Music Academy.

Plays organ/piano for worship services.

Plays organ/piano at seasonal and special services, weddings, and funerals.

Oversees the maintenance of the music library.

Participates in staff meetings and other staff retreats.

Helps recruit, train, and develop musicians and singers at AMC.

Assists the Minister of Music with administrative duties (make copies, order supplies, etc).

Other duties as assigned.

Master’s Degree in music, music education, or related field is preferred but not required with adequate work experience.

Three - Five years of related work experience in faith-based setting; casting vision and implementing a successful music ministry and worship experience.
