Our mission is;
To be Christlike
in leading generations
to be like Christ

What is Christianity?

Christianity is a religion based upon the teachings and miracles of Jesus. To this day, Christianity is the largest religion, stretching to all corners of the globe. Christianity is a relationship with the true and living God through the person of Jesus Christ by whom we are forgiven of our sins and escape the righteous judgment of God.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Christ, meaning anointed one. Jesus came to us from God the Father, fulfilled the Old Testament laws and prophecies, died on the cross, and physically rose from the dead. He performed miracles which were recorded in the gospels in the New Testament. He is divine in nature as well as human. Thus, he has two natures and is worthy of our worship and prayer.

What do Christians believe?

Christianity teaches that God is a Trinity; Father, Son,and Holy Spirit. That Jesus is the second of that Trinity, died on the cross, physically rose from the dead, and that all people are under the righteous judgment of God, only to be saved through faith in the work of Christ.

We are taught that salvation is achieved through grace as we are made right before God in faith. A Christian’s good deeds are done in response to God’s grace, not to earn it.

Further we are taught that once a person becomes born again, the Holy Spirit lives within them. Meaning that God lives in the person and they experience a true and living relationship with God.

“Therefore if any person is in Christ, they are a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
